Stay Baysd x Rare Living Collab
We are excited to announce our very first collaboration is now available! We linked up with a local, San Jose based company called “Rare Living” to put out a dope product that we feel represents both our brands and the message we promote. The shirt is very limited in quantity and available only through us and Rare Living (while supplies last).

The Design
While the shirt itself seems very simple, the design process actually took place over a long period of time. We went through a good amount of failed concepts and ideas until we decided on something we both agreed met our expectations. What we ended up rolling with was a combination of two key aspects of both our brands. We took the font from Rare Living’s last drop and combined it with the color gold, which is a staple for our brand. A key element of the design on the front of the shirt involves the multiple ways of reading the text. Vertically it simply reads “Stay Baysd” on the left and “Rare Living” on the right. However, if read horizontally, it says “Stay Rare” (meaning stay unique, true to yourself, and original), then reads “Baysd Living” (meaning Bay Area lifestyle, staying humble, and just being you). We also turned the “S” into a dollar sign to represent the ultimate reward for working hard in life and getting yourself to a place of wealth and fortune. On the back, we simply have our logos to identify our brands and the creators behind the design.
The Pop Up
On Sunday, May 28th, we linked up with various members of Rare Living to set up a little pop up shop in San Jose. We mainly sold our collab shirt along with certain other items from each brand. We originally setup in between Fifty Five South and Cream. We introduced our brands to people as they walked by, handed out stickers, and even gave away some pizza!
As the traffic began to die down, we decided to move locations over to Cesar Chavez Park. We set up here for another hour, but had to call it a day as it was getting late and starting to get windy. Apparently there was an anime convention of some sort going on as we noticed a variety of people dressed up in costume as they walked by!
It’s been a great experience for both of our brands coming together to create something dope! You can expect possibly a couple more pop up shops from us to promote our collaboration!
